Joann Bain
With 25 years of dedicated service as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, primarily at The Bahamas' Rehabilitation Center for Psychiatry and Substance Abuse, I bring a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to holistic well-being. My qualifications include a Caribbean Regional Certificate in Addiction Studies from The University of the West Indies, training in Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT) from Correctional Counseling Inc., and specialized training in Healthcare for Women Subjected to Intimate Partner Violence or Sexual Violence through the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), the World Health Organization (WHO), and Johns Hopkins University.
My passion lies in creating safe and empowering spaces where individuals can heal, grow, and discover their inner strength. The foundation of L.A.E.'s services is built upon my extensive clinical experience, my understanding of core human needs, and a belief in the transformative power of connection and support. I am dedicated to guiding persons towards balance, resilience, and a thriving sense of self.
As your facilitator, my approach is rooted in belief in your inherent strength. My commitment is to create a truly personalized experience for every individual, ensuring that our one-on-one sessions are tailored to your needs.
For those seeking collective growth, our group sessions are carefully curated to be a safe, confidential space where people can connect, share, and offer support. My role is to guide these powerful discussions, ensuring that every voice is heard and every spirit feels truly nourished.
I genuinely look forward to connecting with you.
